Project Summary:

The project is aimed at promoting financing sustainable development in Uzbekistan through establishment of an Integrated National Financing Framework, mobilizing public and private resources needed to fund development and provide on-demand policy research and capacity building to help maximize the impact of policies/reforms on economic, environmental and social dimensions of the 2030 Agenda.

Expected Results:

Overall objective of the project is to enhance dialogue, coordination, national capacities and policy measures aimed at facilitation of effective financing strategy for achievement of national SDGs in Uzbekistan.

The expected result of the project will be strengthened financing framework that aims to close SDG gap in Uzbekistan. To achieve this result, the project will have four activities: 

- Establish Integrated National Financing Framework. 

- Build regulatory and institutional framework and pilot innovative investment instruments.

- Enhance transparency and accountability of public management system. -  - Establishment of an on-demand research and capacity building facility to support the reform process.
