January 17, 2020 at the Ministry of Water resources of Uzbekistan in the framework of our project “Technical Capacity Building” of the EU Program “Sustainable Management of Water Resources in Rural Areas in Uzbekistan” Component 2, 28 sets of Level - Leica Sprinter-250 M were officially handed over. This equipment will be further transferred to six Basin Irrigation System Authorities (BISA), Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural mechanization engineers and Irrigation and Water Problems Research Institute.

As it was mentioned by our Resident Representative Ms. Matilda Dimovska: "With the help of coordinated actions of our partners, we will achieve more efficient use of water resources in the rural areas of Uzbekistan

Achieved results of the mutual cooperation in the framework of our project were also emphasized in the speeches of the representatives of the Ministry of Water resources and the delegation of European Union in Uzbekistan 

Modern digital levels «Leica Sprinter 250M» will allow accurately measure the topography of the area, the depth and width of the channel, allowing quickly analyze the data during the construction and renovation of hydro-construction.

With the aim of technical capacity enhancement of water organizations, the following six Basin Irrigation System Authorities were selected: Syrdarya-Sokh, Lower-Syrdarya, Zarafshan, Amu-Kashkadarya, Amu-Surkhan and Left-bank Amudarya BISAs. The programme of capacity development of water specialists also carried out in the frame of the project.

Our joint project is implemented in close cooperation of the Ministry of Water resources and the delegation of European Union in Uzbekistan.
