USAID and UNDP have provided technical equipment and assistance to convert the the Supreme School of Judges into a leading legal knowledge centre in Uzbekistan.

Information resource centre, library and website of the Supreme School of Judges under the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan were launched with support of the ‘Rule of Law Partnership in Uzbekistan’ our project with USAID and the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

We provided technical equipment including 22 desktops, 8 laptops, a digital information screen and furniture for the school’s information centre and library, and assisted in curriculum development, and provided input into the launch of  school’s interactive website.

“Our project’s assistance has meant that the Supreme School of Judges can now provide more holistic and interactive engagement with prospective and current judges both in Tashkent and across Uzbekistan, particularly through telecommunication equipment and with the help of improved digital presence,” said Aziz Mirzaev, National Project Coordinator – Assistant of the Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan.
