This textbook in Water Reservoirs Hydrology is developed for  students majoring in ‘Water Reservoirs Hydrology’ and ‘Rivers and Water Reservoirs Hydrology’. The textbook offers basics of river flow management by means of water reservoirs, including its purpose and objectives, main characteristics and classification of water reservoirs, hydrological indicators of rivers and reservoirs and their calculation and application of GIS technologies, as well as information of existing water reservoirs in Uzbekistan and worldwide. 

The textbook is prepared in the frame of the project funded by the European Union on «Technical capacity building» and implemented by UNDP as part of the broader EU Program on «Sustainable management of water resources in rural areas in Uzbekistan».
