Research of foreign practices in the field of evidence in criminal cases

The research is devoted to the study of the best foreign experience in the field of work methods of judges with evidence in criminal proceedings.

The publication contains a list of studied information sources on the collection, research and assessment of evidence by judges in the criminal courts of the foreign countries in question, an overview of the legal positions of the European Court of Human Rights, a classification of the main approaches to criminal procedure law and legal proceedings in various states on research issues, an overview of criminal procedure legislation and practical implementation of the proof procedure in 10 countries (Germany, Great Britain, France, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Moldova, USA, Japan, Russia).

Special attention is paid to proposals regarding the legal regulation of criminal procedural evidence and methodological recommendations for judges of criminal courts on participation in proving and assessing evidence.
