The IRRF is structured across 5 thematic areas: Sovereign Risk Financing, Inclusive Insurance, Integration into Development, Insuring Natural Capital, and Insurance & Investment. There is a strong focus on governance and transforming insurance markets, on building advocacy and evidence, and integrating insurance and risk-financing into development processes. The Facility is already active in more than 20 countries and will be active in 50 countries by 2025, including delivery of a robust training program that will be available to all country offices and programme counties in 2022.
