The UNDP Project “E-Government Promotion for Improved Public Service Delivery” has prepared an E-Government Practical Guide titled "Main tasks for government agencies on further development of e-government in the Republic of Uzbekistan".

The publication is designed to provide guidance to central and local government bodies in implementing the Law of Uzbekistan "On electronic government" and other legal acts in the field of e-governance and ICT implementation in the public administration system.

The guide provides clarifications for the main regulatory requirements in the field of ICT and e-governance grouped by thematic blocks. They include basic concepts, principles, and e-government architecture, public administration system in e-government, electronic public services and improving their delivery mechanism, main components of e-government infrastructure, development and financing of public information resources and systems, open data, digital signature, “One Stop Shop” centers, and quarterly ICT monitoring and evaluation.
