Glossary on ICT is specialized for mostly wide range of readers – scientists, teachers, students, pupils, journalists, managers etc. It has broad terminology that covers all areas of ICT such as telecommunications, Internet, networks, web, programming etc. The Glossary contains more than 3200 terms and definitions in Uzbek and their equivalents in English and Russian, frequently used acronyms in English and valuable appendices (English-Uzbek-Russian dictionary, Russian-Uzbek-English dictionary, important dates in ICT development in Uzbekistan and all over the world, domain name types, normative organizations in ICT, foreign IT-companies, local IT-companies, world ICT periodicals, local ICT periodicals, search systems, web-resources in ICT, smiles and abbreviations used in chats and e-mail) To provide wide-scale access to the Glossary of ICT, electronic versions of the Glossary were developed both offline (http://www.glossary.uz/cd_version) and online Web (www.lugat.uz, www.slovar.uz, www.glossary.uz) versions.
