This Policy Brief has been developed within the framework of the joint project “Support to Sustainable Development of Livestock in Uzbekistan” undertaken by UNDP, Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources and the Israeli Center for International Cooperation (MASHAV). It mainly focuses on milk production given the project focus on dairy management. However, many of the policy recommendations are applicable for meat production as well. The Policy Brief presents the main conclusions of situation analysis and the policy lessons derived from the farm-level survey.
