UNDP Uzbekistan’s project ‘Support to Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion in Uzbekistan’, conducted in partnership with the ‘Uzinfoinvest’ agency under the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, and the ‘UZPHARMSANOAT’ Uzbek State Joint Stock Concern of the Pharmaceutical Industry, has develop an Investment Guide to the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan.

This publication provides information regarding the development of Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical industry, and the business opportunities available in order to facilitate the inflow of foreign investments into this sector. There is huge potential for the development of Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical industry as an important innovative dimension of the nation’s economy.
