Guidelines for designing and implementing projects in solid waste management sector are developed based on the experience from pilot project implemented by UNDP and partners in Yangiyul district of Tashkent region. It is a comprehensive tool for conducting situation analysis on site, developing optimal public-private partnership model, conducting feasibility study, developing competitive selection requirements and conducting such selection to identify private partner to provide solid waste management services in any town (district) of Uzbekistan.
