Analytical Report ‘Improving Uzbekistan’s ranking in ‘Trading Across Borders’ indicator of World Bank’s Doing Business Report’ is prepared by the Center for Economic Research with support of UNDP’s Aid for Trade Project. The report contains analysis of the main factors, influencing the ranking of Uzbekistan in ‘Trading across borders’ indicator with recommendations on further improvement of conditions for development of foreign trade.

In particular, the recommendations proposed in the report envisage measures in the following directions: 1) creating favorable conditions for rapid integration of national transport infrastructure with international transport corridors; 2) simplification of foreign trade procedures; 3) further improvement of customs administration and services of other regulatory authorities.
