In the frame of the joint project of the UNDP in Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan “Technical Capacity Building”, which is implemented in the frame of the EU Programme “Sustainable Management of Water Resources in Rural Areas in Uzbekistan”, the “DISWAT” online data base and data exchange software has been developed for the first time for specialists of the Basin Irrigation System Authority (BISA) and Irrigation System Authority (ISA) Dispatch Services in Uzbekistan.

The “DISWAT” online database and data exchange software is developed for data storage, data processing and data analysis on the distribution of water resources at BISA and ISA levels.   

The Guideline on the use of “DISWAT” online database and data exchange software was developed and distributed among the specialists of the BISA and ISA Dispatch Services.
