This information guide describes the technological process of vegetables growing to ensure a rich harvest throughout the year for farmers, dekhkans and greenhouses owners living in the northern regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Taking into account the local conditions, it describes greenhouses preparation technologies before the exploitation; features of soils and vegetables cultivation in the ground greenhouses.

Current edition is developed within the framework of joint project of UNDP in Uzbekistan and Centre of Hydrometeorological Service at Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan “Developing climate resilience of farming communities in the drought prone parts of Uzbekistan” funded by the Adaptation Fund of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
