The manual provides an overview of the essential elements of writ proceedings, the process of the review of claim applications and the composition of court order, as well as the specific situations and challenges that judges should pay their attention to, examples and statistical data. In addition, in order to assist the creation of common judicial practice in issuing court orders, the manual provides examples and templates related to different types of undisputed claims.

Considering that fast pace at which Uzbekistan is introducing information-communication technologies, and particularly E-SUD e-justice system, the manual provides recommendations and instructions on issuing court order using the particular system. The manual is intended for the use of judges, attorneys, lawyers, law students, as well as readers with a general interest in law.

The publication is developed within the framework of the “Rule of Law Partnership in Uzbekistan” project, which is a joint project of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and United Nations Development Programme.
